Welcome to Harry's! The idea is a simple one, a restaurant that sources everything from one small beautiful penninsula - Inishowen!
Everything includes all our beef and lamb from Edenmore farm & rare-breed pork from Fowler & Hamilton organic farms. What makes us even more special is our own hanging room to mature meats to their optimum (up to 28 days for some beef cuts). "Possibly the best steak in the world" shouts the Daily Mail
Throw in direct access to the fresh fish landing from Greencastle & suddenly we are on to something. Lesser known fish such as gurnard are our pride & joy as well as all the shellfish from our purest waters!
Now that we have organic vegetable & herb growers on board & licensed local game people more local food tastes develop into our menu! It just might be the most local menu in Ireland!
That mean supporting local people & delivering local taste. Less big companies & sales reps & more local people who farm, catch, grow & fish for a living that we enhance. Its a great idea, and it works both in terms of value & taste. Come and try it anyday between 12.15 and 9pm but make sure you book and avoid being dissapointed. To make your mouths water even more, have a read of Bridgestone Guides opinion on Harrys from August 2010 http://www.bestofbridgestone.com/blog/john-mckenna-wowed-harrys
